 【前言】：好久沒有寫"經典一首歌"這個主題了，趁著最近比較有時間，好好的來寫一些經典的專輯、歌曲。

【歌手簡介】：這次，我所介紹的這張專輯『O』，我想大多數的人並不是很熟悉，甚至連這位歌手的名字都沒聽過，但提到其中的一首歌曲『The Blower's Daughter』，大家應該不陌生。這位演唱者叫做「Damien Rice」：他是一位愛爾蘭創作歌手兼音樂家，創作能力驚人；於1990年代出道，當年是搖滾樂團Juniper的一員，後來因為唱片公司PolyGram(寶麗金)對他們音樂的介入與干涉，他決定離開樂團，去追求他的音樂夢想。到目前為止，他總共發行兩張實體專輯─『O』(2002)和『9』(2006)；兩張Live專輯─『Live at Fingerprints Warts & All』(2007) 和『Live from the Union Chapel』(2007)。其中，『The Blower's Daughter』因為成為電影「Closer(偷情)」的片尾曲，而聲名大噪。

【專輯導聽】：這是一張適合在寧靜的環境下，沒有任何干擾、獨自一人面對自我時聆聽的專輯；它沉靜、低沉到令人情緒波動、令人無法自拔，也同時令人平靜。整張專輯的曲風偏向Folk(民謠)揉合Acoustic, Indie rock，它回歸音樂最純樸、最簡單的元素，帶領聽眾聽到自己內心深處的聲音!Damien Rice的嗓音和創作聽起來很舒服，也很smooth，但其中蘊含的是濃烈的傷感與反思；情緒是錯綜複雜的，但音樂、歌詞卻單純的不能再單純，現在，就讓我們一起徜徉在『The Blower's Daughter』的低鳴、哀愁；『Cannonball』的清新、動盪；『Volcano』的慵懶、沉靜；『Delicate』的緩慢、悲傷；『Cheers Darlin'』的真實、醉意；『Older Chests』的自然、和諧；『Amie』的緩和、純粹；『Eskimo』的宏大、平復，整段的情緒是層層相扣、細膩感人，彷彿你就是主角、感同身受。

      用心、仔細的體會音樂中一絲一毫的情緒波動，就像是在閱讀一篇故事，或是體驗一段真實人生，當我們對演唱者、創作者的音樂產生認同，而有所感動時，他們的音樂才有生存的價值，而我們對於這樣的音樂也應該更加珍惜，因為這些音樂對於創作者而言，是心血的結晶，同時，得來不易...
